WHAT WE DO

We design the building, not just the inside of it.

Amy Drean Interiors is a renovation-led residential design studio working in London period homes — typically 1850–1930s townhouses in SW6, SW10, W11 and NW3. Where styling-led studios decorate around what they are given, we restore the stained glass, design the joinery, build out the basement, and then choose the fabrics. Renovation and interior, designed as one decision, costed before site work begins.

Renovation and interior, designed as one decision.

01.  Brief and survey

We begin with the building. A measured survey, a heritage assessment, an honest conversation about what the house wants to become and what your life requires from it. We commit nothing to drawing until we have walked every floor.

02.  Concept and structure

We design the renovation and the interior together. Joinery profiles, pocket doors, basement footprint, kitchen plan, window treatments — drawn as a single coherent scheme, not as separate handoffs to separate trades.

03.  Specification and costing

Every fixture, finish, and furnishing is specified and costed before site work begins. You receive one schedule, one budget, one studio holding the line. There is no "we'll figure it out on site."

04.  Site and trades

We tender to a short list of trusted contractors, supervise weekly, and resolve the inevitable site decisions in your favour without involving you in every one. Period buildings reveal themselves during works; we are equipped for that.

05.  Finish and hand-back

We install, we style, we walk you through every room, we leave you with a care guide and a list of contacts. The relationship continues. Most of our work comes from clients we are still in touch with.
